Everything was great, the glue just dries very fast, so you cannot wait too long or apply too much at once, otherwise you cannot keep up and the glue dries out.
There are two ways to make a bear yours. You can pour the colour over it and turn it, or set it with diamonds one stone at a time.

What else do I need?
Nothing else to buy. Whichever set you pick, everything is in the box. Pour sets come with the bears, the paints, gloves and a protective mat. Diamond sets come with the bears, the stones, glue, an applicator pen and a tray. You do not need a craft shop, a tutorial or any experience. Clear the table, open the box and you are ready in about ten minutes.
Pour set or diamond set?
Two different evenings. With a pour set you tip the colour over the bear and turn it. It is fast, unpredictable, and no two come out alike. With a diamond set you place the stones one by one with a glue pen. It is slower and calmer, and you decide exactly where everything goes.
How long does it take?
A pour set takes one to two hours, then it sets overnight. Diamond sets take longer, and most people spread them across an evening or two.
Is it messy?
Less than you would think. A protective mat is in every box. Pour sets also include gloves, and the paints are water-based.
Can we do it alone?
Yes. The sets with two bears are made for doing it together, but plenty of people make one on their own or with a friend.
